Dennis Campbell has more than 50 years of experience in the grocery industry, as both a retailer and wholesaler. Bagging groceries in Philadelphia at the age of 16, Dennis would go on to become Vice President of Store Development for Fleming Companies, a wholesale food distributor. He earned a Bachelors in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing and a Minor in Economics from Temple University, and completed the Cornell University Food Executive Program.
After many years of helping grocery retailers, he owned and operated a supermarket in Bucks County, PA. His passion for retail development led him to become a commercial real estate agent leasing shopping centers for tenants and landlords. Eventually, Dennis was called back to wholesale food distribution, serving as National Director of Retail Development for one of the largest private companies in the U.S. In 2021, his team achieved the highest sales and profit goals in the history of C&S Wholesale Grocers.
Dennis takes pride in his ability to create and sustain key industry relationships. He is known for his honesty and high personal integrity, and credits those qualities for his career success. For more than 30 years, he has lived in Bucks County, PA with his wife, Terry, where they raised two children. He enjoys golf, fishing, Philadelphia sports teams, and spending time with his family in the Poconos.
Dennis is excited to begin the next chapter of his career advising companies on how to sustainably and conservatively manage their energy consumption. In his prior store development roles, he advised retailers on creative cost-saving strategies through changing suppliers or retrofitting stores with energy efficient lighting and motors. He looks forward to showing customers how Greencrown’s portfolio of services can effectively reduce energy spend, decrease consumption, and drive sustainability.
