Robert Travers is Greencrown Energy & Water’s Head of Commercial Solar Development and brings over seven years of industry experience. Mr. Travers is responsible for educating and advising our internal team and clients on how to best leverage unique and complex local solar programs, state by state and utility by utility, as they constantly evolve. Mr. Travers diligently prepares comprehensive solar assessments for clients, complete with financial analysis, industry guidance and their unique options to pursue solar. Mr. Travers is a proven solar sales and business development leader and over the past two years, has personally sourced and proposed over 200 million dollars of Commercial & Industrial solar business.
Mr. Travers is a serial entrepreneur and is deeply experienced in sales, business development & partnerships. Mr. Travers began running his own businesses in high school and continued through university, while studying Entrepreneurship. Directly following graduation, Mr. Travers ran a successful Franchise before moving west to enter the solar industry. By 2017 Mr. Travers started focusing his efforts on developing commercial solar projects, partnering with Accord Power Inc, a highly experienced turnkey EPC developer in the Tri-State.
Today, Mr. Travers is the Director of Solar at Greencrown Energy & Water, Partner at Accord power Inc, COO/Consultant of Dental Deal Mate and Co-Owner of The Lunchpad; an award winning restaurant in San Francisco. Mr. Travers is an avid athlete, enjoys the outdoors, playing poker, chess, new ideas and is the proud husband of a loving wife and father of two beautiful and bright children. Mr. Travers holds a BS in Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.
